Candidates applying for the exam should have some knowledge of marketing principles and the Marketing application's role in relationship to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite of applications, including integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Office 365 applications. Candidates should understand industry terminology, priorities, common initiatives, standards, methodologies, and best practices.
Candidates in this are responsible for configuring and expanding the core marketing application to include email marketing, setup, interactive customer journeys, leads nurturing with personalized experiences, LinkedIn integration, Events, Voice of the Customer, Landing Pages, segmentation and scoring, and maintaining General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR) compliance.
If a candidate does not achieve a passing score on an exam the first time then the candidate must wait at least 24 hours before retaking the exam. And, if a candidate does not achieve a passing score the second time, the candidate must wait at least 14 days before retaking the exam a third time. A 14-day waiting period is also imposed for the fourth and fifth subsequent exam retakes. A candidate may not take a given exam any more than five times per year.
The technical tasks that are performed in this exam include performing discovery, planning, and analysis with managing user experience design and data. It also includes implementing security and integration with configuring marketing applications.

Candidates in this are responsible for implementing solutions that attract and convert leads, build brand awareness, standardize omnichannel messaging, and deliver marketing insights.
You will get 120 minutes to complete the exam.
Microsoft certification contains 40-60 questions which need to be completed in 120 minutes.
In a year the candidate can give exam only five times and after then the candidate is eligible for the exam after 12 months. The 12 months period will start the day of the fifth unsuccessful exam. After giving first exam if a candidate did not pass then they should have to wait at least a day to give second test.
