PTCB was formed by a mixture of pharmacy groups and organizations over the United States, such that it became the first certification association for pharmacy technicians. PTCB is the non-profit pharmacy organization in the US, which allows people to maintain transparency. The PTCB offers certification to the individuals who want to differentiate themselves in the pharmacy technician area and build gratifying careers in healthcare. PTCB Certification course and PTCB assessment based Certificate serve different purposes. Certifications offered include -
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT)
PTCB set out advanced medication security by training technicians who are qualified to back pharmacists and patient care groups in all practice settings.
