Microsoft Azure Architect Design is for the Azure Solution Architects who have already passed the AZ-300 exam. AZ-301 exam measures the ability to accomplish technical tasks like determining workload requirements; designing for identity and security; designing a data platform solution; designing a business continuity strategy; designing for deployment, migration, and integration; and designing an infrastructure strategy.

Is 70-535 exam same as AZ-301?
No, 70-535 exam is no valid anymore, the exam got retired on 31 December, 2018. This exam was further replaced by AZ-300 and AZ-301 to earn the expert level certification after passing both exams.
Do Azure Certifications expire?
No, Microsoft Azure certifications do not expire. Previously there were certifications which after 2 or 3 years need recertification but now Microsoft have removed that policy.
How many times can you take a Microsoft exam?
In a year the candidate can give exam only five times and after then the candidate is eligible for the exam after 12 months. The 12 months period will start the day of the fifth unsuccessful exam. After giving first exam if candidate did not pass then they should have to wait at least a day to give second test.
