Exam AZ-700: Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions

Approximately 40-60 questions in the Microsoft Azure AZ-700 exam.

This exam measures your ability to design, implement, manage, secure, and monitor the following technical tasks: Hybrid Networking; Core Networking Infrastructure; Routing; Networks; and Private Access to Azure Services.

If you have a concern about the technical accuracy of a particular item, please submit an online request. An Item Challenge form will be sent to you. However, a re-evaluation of your score is unlikely to change your pass/fail status. Because Microsoft must ensure that candidates who pass exams and earn our certifications have demonstrated the required proficiency level(s) across the skill domain(s), the final result of an exam is rarely changed based on a re-evaluation of your exam results. Even if a question is flawed in some way, we cannot assume that you would have answered it correctly if it had not been. In these cases, we provide candidates with the opportunity to retake the exam free of charge.

Microsoft Certification exams are available in several languages. However, candidates who must take the exam in English rather than in their native language can request accommodation for additional time. Approval for extra time is provided on a case-by-case basis and needs to be requested in advance of the exam.

Candidates for this exam should also have expert Azure administration skills, in addition to extensive experience and knowledge of networking, hybrid connections, and network security.

• Responsibilities for the Azure Network Engineer include recommending, planning, and implementing Azure networking solutions.
• Professionals in this role manage the solution for performance, resiliency, scale, and security.
• They deploy networking solutions by using the Azure Portal and other methods, including PowerShell, Azure Command-Line Interface (CLI), and Azure Resource Manager templates (ARM templates).
• The Azure Network Engineer works with solution architects, cloud administrators, security engineers, application developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver Azure solutions.

Candidates for this exam should have subject matter expertise in planning, implementing, and maintaining Azure networking solutions, including hybrid networking, connectivity, routing, security, and private access to Azure services.

The Microsoft Azure AZ-700 Exam passing score is 700 (on a scale of 1-1000).
