The Disciplined Agile Value Stream Consultant (DAVSC) exam focuses on developing practices including Flow, Lean, the Theory of Constraints, and Organizational Development into Disciplined Agile together with the tools for optimizing enterprise-wide value streams. The Disciplined Agile Value Stream Consultant (DAVSC) exam helps in developing skills to accelerate value delivery at scale by moving beyond individual teams and applying Disciplined Agile across the organization.


DAVSC Eligibility Requirements

DAVSC certification exam requires the candidates -

  • To complete the Disciplined Agile(R) Value Stream Consultant (DAVSC)  instructor-led three-day course offered virtually by a PMI Authorized Training Provider (ATP).
  • To be eligible for the DAVSC certification, the candidate needs to have three years of agile experience
  • To qualify for Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM) certification to ensure in-depth knowledge of the DA tool kit, along with the practices and strategies it contains.


Applying for DAVSC Exam 

On completing the three months of membership in the DAVSC Community of Practice, candidates will become eligible to register for the DAVSC exam. All DAVSC exams are delivered online through Pearson Vue.


Exam Validity and Renewal

  • Candidates will be granted a 1year period to pass the examination.
  • Candidates can take the examination up to 3 times within the eligibility period of 1 year
  • Candidates can renew the DAVSC certification (after one year of validity) by earning and reporting 7 PDUs related to agile content and submitting the annual renewal fee.

2.9 Advise stakeholders on backlog of improvements and prioritize

2.10 Describe how an MBI is used in a Disciplined Agile workflow – including who uses it and why it is used

3.2 Demonstrate explicit workflow so people can understand what the agreements are between the groups
