  • Proficiency in operating Alibaba Cloud Computing-related products, including activating, creating, configuring, starting, stopping, and deleting service instances.
  • Understanding of the features and key implementation principles of Alibaba Cloud Computing-related products.
  • Ability to identify and resolve common issues that arise during the use of Alibaba Cloud Computing-related products.


General IT Knowledge

  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing concepts and related knowledge, such as virtualization, storage, and networking.
  • Knowledge of typical web application architecture, including web servers, app servers, Server Load Balancers, and databases.
  • Experience with CDN and content delivery acceleration.
  • Understanding of common network protocols such as HTTP, FTP, TCP, UDP, and ICMP.
  • Practical experience with networking, including routing, VSwitch, route tables, NAT, and DNS.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
  • Basic knowledge of network security, including firewall policy, key encryption, access control, network security, and protection against network attacks.

The Alibaba ACP Cloud Computing Professional Exam covers the following topics - 

Domain 1  - Understanding the concept of ECS (20%)

  • Familiarity with ECS concepts such as regions, zones, instances, disks, snapshots, images, networks, and security groups.
  • Knowledge of ECS advantages, billing policies, application scenarios, APIs, and SDKs.
  • Ability to deploy applications based on ECS products.
  • Proficiency in the usage and operations of ECS instances, disks, security groups, snapshots, images, and tags.
  • Ability to identify and resolve common problems arising during operating system usage, server logons, and other ECS instance products.
  • Capability to implement application solutions using ECS, RDS, Server Load Balancers, VPCs, OSS, CDN, Auto Scaling, Alibaba Cloud Security, and CloudMonitor products.

Domain 2  - Understanding the concept of Auto Scaling (10%)

  • Understanding basic Auto Scaling concepts including scaling groups, configuration, rules, activities, trigger tasks, scaling mode, and freezing time.
  • Familiarity with Auto Scaling features, advantages, and application scenarios.
  • Knowledge of Auto Scaling configuration and operations, including creating and maintaining scaling groups, configuring rules and jobs, and setting up alert jobs.
  • Awareness of precautions to prevent and resolve common problems during Auto Scaling use.
  • Ability to implement application solutions using Auto Scaling and ECS and Server Load Balancer products.


Domain 3  - Understanding the concept of Server Load Balancer (10%)

  • Knowledge of basic Server Load Balancer concepts and features, including definitions, implementation principles, supported protocols, session persistence, health checks, backend server weights, certificates, and forwarding policies.
  • Understanding of Server Load Balancer advantages and application scenarios.
  • Proficiency in Server Load Balancer configuration, maintenance, precautions, and problem identification and handling.
  • Ability to implement application solutions using Server Load Balancer alongside ECS and Auto Scaling products.


Domain 4  - Understanding the concept of VPC (10%)

  • Familiarity with VPC-related concepts including VPCs, Vrouters, VSwitches, route tables, and route entries.
  • Knowledge of VPC product advantages and application scenarios.
  • Proficiency in the usage and operation of VPCs, VSwitches, EIPs, Vrouters, and route tables.
  • Understanding of VPC security and configuration as well as usage restrictions.
  • Capability to carry out VPC monitoring and operations.
  • Knowledge of implementing interconnection solutions between VPCs through Express Connect.
  • Ability to use ECS, Server Load Balancer, and OSS products in a VPC and implement application solutions.


Domain 5  - Understanding the concept of OSS (

  • Familiarity with OSS-related concepts, including regions, buckets, objects, anti-leech, and object lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of OSS advantages, application scenarios, and billing models.
  • Proficiency in the management, use, and operations of OSS buckets and objects.
  • Familiarity with the image processing capabilities offered by OSS.
  • Ability to identify and resolve common problems during the use of OSS products.

Domain 6 - Understanding the concept of CDN (5%)

  • Knowledge of CDN advantages, application scenarios, and billing models.
  • Ability to perform basic configuration and optimization of CDN to solve common problems.
  • Capability to implement application solutions using CDN alongside ECS and OSS products.


Domain 7 - Understanding Alibaba Cloud Security Services and CloudMonitor (10%)

  • Basic security awareness and understanding of security basics when using cloud services.
  • Knowledge of Alibaba Cloud Security services such as Anti-DDoS Basic, Anti-DDoS Pro, Security Center, and CloudMonitor.
  • Ability to detect and protect against DDoS attacks, brute force password cracking attacks, web SQL injections, and other common security risks using Alibaba Cloud Security products.


General Knowledge about Cloud Computing (5%)

  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts, technologies, and advantages, including definitions, features, service types, implementation technologies, and deployment methods.
