The Preference Center or Profile Center

The Preference Center or Profile center is a webpage
Subscribers can update their personal information in the Preference Center or Profile center
The subscribers can see only non-hidden attributes
Subscribers can only see but not change read only attributes
Attribute are populate for subscribers after list import in Email Studio
All email from Email Studio has a link for subscribers to Profile Center
HTML emails building show a prompt to include the link
Profile Center has a global opt-out option.
Use Brand Builder to change the color and logo on the profile center
Profile or Preference Center is used by the Email application for personalizing emails sent to subscribers. All emails have a link
- It is in all default footer
- The link is for Profile Center page
- Subscribers can view their profile details from the link
- The default footer can be changed or removed
- Subscribers can also update their profile details from the link
- The default footer can also removed
Profile Center should not have
- sensitive information of subscribers
- personal information of subscribers
Profile Center should have
- information to manage the subscribers profile
If subscriber forwards the email by email client, his profile center link is forwarded
Include Forward To A Friend for easy forwarding

Subscription Center

Subscription Center is in email studio
The Subscription Center is used for subscribing or Unsubscribing
It has 2 section –
- The Available Publications – shows all lists defined in account as public.
- The Unsubscribe from All option – subscriber can remove from all publications.
Subscription Center should have
- information to manage the subscribers profile
Subscription Center should not have
- sensitive information of subscribers
- personal information of subscribers
