What do you understand by ITIL® Practitioner Exam?

The ITIL® Practitioner certification offers practical guidance on how to adopt and adapt the ITIL framework to support your business’ objectives. It enables practitioners to not only speak the language of ITIL but be able to translate it and use it in practice.

How many questions does the ITIL® Practitioner Exam have?

The ITIL® Practitioner Exam contains 40 questions. 

What is the format of the ITIL® Practitioner Exam?

The Exam is available in the form of multiple-choice and multiple-response. 

What are the passing marks for the ITIL® Practitioner Exam?

The candidate is required to obtain 28 marks required to pass (out of 40 available) – 70%. 

What are the requirements for applying for the ITIL® Practitioner Exam?
Delegates wishing to take this examination must be able to show evidence of having passed either the version 3 ITIL Foundation examination or the version 2 ITIL Foundation examination plus the Foundation Bridge examination.

How login does my certification be valid?

The ITIL® Practitioner certificate will be valid for almost 3 years.

What is the examination for the exam?

The registration fee for the exam is  £405 .

What are the requirements for joining the AXELOS?

Anyone can join My AXELOS, but in order to claim a digital badge, the candidate must hold an ITIL®, PRINCE2® or MSP® certification.

When joining, the candidate will be asked to provide the candidate number for the certification that they wish to register with. 

How do I join AXELOS?

To join My AXELOS, the candidate will need to establish an account on AXELOS.com. Once they have registered, they can subscribe and choose their membership subscription – My ITIL, My PRINCE2 or My MSP.

New ITIL Foundation, Intermediate and Practitioner certificate-holders and PRINCE2 Practitioner and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certificate-holders can claim one-year subscription with their certificate. AXELOS will email candidates with details on how to subscribe.

How much does the AXELOS subscription cost?

My AXELOS costs £50. The cost of a subscription for a second certification is £30 and just £20 for a third.

How do I renew my AXELOS subscription?

The candidate will receive an email reminder from AXELOS notifying them that their subscription is about to expire. They will be asked to make an online payment by logging in to your AXELOS.com user account.

What is the Successful Candidate Register (SCR)?

AXELOS’ Successful Candidates Register (SCR) provides details of any candidates who have previously passed an AXELOS examination and have opted in to have their details displayed. The AXELOS’ system uses the register to cross-reference and verify candidates’ certifications before adding these to their profile.

How can I prepare for the ITIL® Practitioner Exam?

The candidate can prepare for the ITIL® Practitioner Exam by some steps such as visiting the official site, learning and understanding the objectives, books and guides, practice test, training programs, etc.
