How to register for the Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) Version 8.6 Exam?

  • Candidates should register for the Pega certification exam with PearsonVue.
  • Candidates taking the exam for the first time must create a Pearson VUE account.
  • The name on your ID must match the name listed on your Pearson VUE account at the time of the exam

What happens if the prerequisites are missing when we register for the exam?

In case the prerequisites of a candidate are missing, it is most likely they have logged in using a different account at Pearson VUE.  If a candidate has earlier taken a Pega certification exam, then they must register using the Pearson VUE account with which the previous exam was taken.

How can I take the Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) Version 8.6 Exam?

There are two ways to take a Pega certification exam –

Option 1 – Pearson VUE testing center 

Candidates can take the exam at a Pearson VUE testing center nearest you.

Option 2 – Online Proctored (OnVUE) 

Candidates can take the exam at their convenience from home or office.

Candidates must read the OnVUE exam delivery policies and requirements before scheduling the exam.

What are the things required when taking the Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) Version 8.6 Exam?

Candidates are required to have –

  • Two (2) forms of personal identification (ID).
  • Both forms of ID must have the candidate’s signature
  • One of the 2 forms of ID must have your photo.
  • Valid forms of ID are government-issued ID such as a driver’s license or passport. Photocopies are not acceptable.
  • The candidate’s name on the ID must match the name with the Pearson VUE account.

NOTE

  • PAN Card is not accepted for candidates giving the exam in India as an acceptable form of ID.
  • The blue-coloured (not pink) Health Insurance Card is an acceptable form of secondary identification, in Japan.
  • The Polish Identity card can be used as ID proof only if it contains a signature, in Poland,  
  • Food, laptops, backpacks, cell phones, notepads, pens, or other personal items are not allowed in the examination hall.

How can we cancel the exam?

  • In order to cancel the certification exam, the candidate must sign in to the Pearson VUE account and cancel the exam appointment. 
  • Candidates must cancel the exam at least 24 hours earlier to the exam appointment in order to receive a refund 

What is the exam retake policy?

  • Candidates failing the exam must wait for a period of three (3) calendar days before taking a second attempt for the same exam version.
  • Candidates planning for a third attempt must wait a period of fourteen (14) calendar days after the second failed attempt.
  • Each exam version may be taken a total of three (3) times in a 12-month period. The 12-month period starts from the date the first exam is taken. 
  • A fourth attempt can be scheduled one (1) year from the first attempt.
  • The candidate must pay the full exam fee each time the exam is taken.

How to reschedule the exam?

  • A candidate can reschedule the exam at Pearson Vue at least one (1) business day prior to the exam appointment.
  • Candidates can reschedule the exam in the Pearson VUE account by clicking the Reschedule link for the exam appointment section.

How to cancel the Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) Exam?

Candidates can cancel the exam in their Pearson VUE account by clicking the Cancel link for the exam appointment section at least 24 hours prior to the exam appointment.
