What is Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) Exam?

What is the prerequisite for the Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) exam?

It is important for candidates to complete either EDU-210 or EDU-110 course.

How many questions will be there in Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) exam?

There will be 50 questions which have to be completed in 80 minutes in this exam.

What is the format of the exam?

The exam consists of multiple choice questions.

What is the passing criterion for the exam?

Passing scores for Palo Alto certifications are set using statistical analysis and are subject to change.

What is the fee structure for the PCNSA Exam?

The PCNSA exam costs $140 USD.

Can I reschedule or cancel the exam?

If a candidate needs to reschedule or cancel their exam, then they must contact Pearson VUE 48 hours prior to the exam appointment. Rescheduling an exam less than 48 hours in advance is subject to the same-day forfeit of the exam fee.

What is the Exam Retake Policy?

In the event a candidate fails their 1st attempt to pass any Palo Alto Networks certification exam, Palo Alto Networks requires the candidate to wait 5 business days. If a candidate fails their 2nd attempt Palo Alto Networks requires the candidate to wait 15 business days before they can attempt to pass the exam again. After the 3rd attempt, the candidate will be required to wait an additional 15 business days prior to attempting to pass the exam again. If the candidate is unsuccessful after the 3rd attempt, the date will need to contact [email protected] prior to any additional attempts.

Does Palo Alto provide ESL accommodations?

ESL Accommodations (30 minutes extension) are automatically granted based on the candidates mailing address.

For how long is Palo Alto certifications valid?

The certification is valid for 2 years from the time certification is granted.

It is possible to track the expiration date?

Candidates can track the expiration date on a exam taken at a Pearson VUE test center by logging into CertMetrics and selecting the Certification page.

What are the identification requirements for the exam?

• The first and last name that the candidate uses to register must match exactly the first and last name on both of the IDs that are presented on test day.

• All IDs required must be issued by the country in which the candidate is testing. If the candidate does not have a qualifying primary ID issued from the country they are testing in, an International Travel Passport from their country of citizenship is required, along with a secondary ID.

• Candidate is required to present two forms of original (no photocopies or digital IDs), valid (unexpired) IDs; one form as a primary ID (government-issued with name, recent recognizable photo, and signature) and one form as a secondary ID (with at least a name and signature, or name and recent recognizable photo).
