What is EXIN DevOps Professional?
This EXIN DevOps Professional certification has been designed to give IT professionals background knowledge and understanding of essential DevOps practices. Created as a stepping-stone to the EXIN DevOps Master certification, this certification looks at the Three Ways, the good habits of change control, and maintaining security compliance.
Who is this certification for?
The EXIN DevOps Professional certification is meant for anyone working within a DevOps environment or in an organization that considers the transition to a DevOps way of working. The target group includes, but is not limited to:

• Product and Service Owners
• Project Managers
• Test Engineers
• IT Service Management operating and support staff
• Process Managers

What is the duration of the exam ?
The exam is of 1 hour.
How is the Assessment of Examination done?
If and in so far, the Examination is conducted by a method that makes use of an automatic grading key (such as a multiple-choice exam), assessment takes place with the aid of the computer software. EXIN establishes the number of points to be awarded on the basis of the assessment.
What is the Retake policy?
You are allowed to retake the exam the same day, if possible, at your Exam Center or via the EXIN Anywhere Service. However, EXIN advises candidates to take time for extra study. The coaching report will show you which topics need additional attention.
What is the Rescheduling policy?
With EXIN there are 3 different ways to take your exam:
Accredited Exam Organization
As your exam is booked and arranged through the exam organization, you need to contact them directly if you are unable to take your scheduled exam. They are able to inform you about the cancellation and re-scheduling options.
EXIN Anywhere Video Recorded exam
Your EXIN Anywhere Video Recorded exam is available for 21 days after placing your order. You do not need to schedule for a specific date or time within these 21 days. You can take the exam at any time convenient to you. Therefore, please make sure you order your exam when you are certain you will be able to take it within the next 21 days.
EXIN Anywhere Live Proctored exam
Your EXIN Anywhere Live Proctored exam is also available for 21 days after placing your order. If you have already scheduled your exam, but are unable to make the appointment, you can reschedule up to 24 hours before the exam was planned to take place. Please note that the new exam date needs to be within the initial 21 days availability period.
Go to the invitation email you received and click on the link to your exam to manage your appointment. Click on ‘Change Appointment’.
How will you get you results?
If you have taken your exam through EXIN Anywhere, your temporary result will be provided immediately. EXIN will provide your final result within two weeks.
If you have taken your exam with Accredited Partners, all the documents regarding the exam will first need to be returned to EXIN for processing. EXIN provide you with the final result within 3 days after receiving the required documents from Accredited Partner.
Your final result can only be provided when you have confirmed your personal details. If you have not received an email requesting confirmation, please contact EXIN. The email will then be (re)sent to you.
After you have confirmed your details and they have been checked by EXIN, you will receive an email stating that your results are available in your Candidate Portal.

As a Candidate, when will I receive my certificate?
You can download a digital version of your certificate from the Candidate Portal as soon as your results are available. This digital certificate is an original and official document.
If your Candidate Portal states Digital Certificate Only, then no hard copy certificate has been ordered yet. In this case, you can order a print version of your certificate from your Candidate Portal. Please note, that a fee applies when ordering a hard copy certificate. Make sure to double check your address before you finalize your order.
As a Candidate, can I review my exam?
You can review the exam no later than two months after the date of the exam result notification. If you took the exam with one of our Accredited Exam Centers, please contact them directly. The review session will take place at their location. Please note that there are additional fees for this service (the testing center Pearson Vue does not offer this service).
A review will allow you to compare your answers to the correct answers. Hopefully, this will lead to more insight into your exam result.
If you disagree with the result, you can appeal by filling out the appeal documents during your review session. This process will incur an additional fee. Your appeal will be judged by the Board of Appeal. The Board of Appeal is an independent committee and their judgment is binding.
As a Candidate, how do I use the exam voucher I have received?

As a Candidate, can I receive a payment receipt or copy of my invoice?
EXIN can only provide invoices if the payment was made directly to EXIN. If so, please contact us to receive a copy of your invoice.
If you took your exam through our Accredited Exam Organisation, Pearson VUE, please contact them to request a payment receipt.
As an an Accredited Partner, do I receive discounts on the exam pricing?
When you become an EXIN Partner you will automatically receive a discount on the standard EXIN exam fees as published on our website. Our pricelist is also divided into different tiers, giving additional discounts to partners that achieve a certain number of exams each calendar year.
