What is the fees for DCPP exam?
The DCPP exam will cost around INR 15,000 plus 18% GST.
What is the registration policy for DCPP exam?
Follow the below mentioned steps to register for the exam:
- Register and make payment on DSCI Website
- Upon receiving the confirmation email follow the exam schedule link in the email
- Then select Test Date and Center
- Enter the voucher code provided in the email to finish the scheduling process
- And finally, appear for the Exam, clear the exam and get certified
Can i reschedule the exam, How?
The candidates can reschedule the exam once for free. But, if the candidate wishes to reschedule the exam again before the scheduled date of exam, she or he can do so by paying a rescheduling fee of INR 1,500/- + 18% GST. In case the date of examination is crossed then it would be considered as exam taken & only one more attempt will be provided to the candidate. The additional attempt will be on chargeable basis. The reattempt fee will be INR 7,500/- + 18% GST.
How many questions are asked in DCPP exam?
The DSCI Certified Privacy Professional (DCPP) exam consists of 75 questions
What is the duration of the exam?
The DSCI Certified Privacy Professional (DCPP) exam duration is 150 minutes.
What is the maximum time frame allowed between making the payment and appearing in the exam ?
A maximum of 6 months will only be permitted to take the exam post the success processing of payment.
How long is the DCPP certification valid for ?
The certification will be valid for a period of 3 years from the date of issue of certificate. Upon expiration of validity the candidate would be required to retake the exam, the cost for which would be INR 7,500 + 18% GST. To know more, you can visit the official site.

We have referenced some reading materials at the end of PBoK; but that too is just suggestive, not exhaustive.
Are the questions asked in the exam from BoK only ?
The coverage of the questions asked in the exam are not only from BoK, but from privacy domain as a whole. While BoK would make up for a significant portion of the total number of questions asked in exam, lot many questions would also cover privacy trends and updates, changing legal and regulatory regime, updates in space of standards and framework, enhancement in privacy technology etc.
