What is CISSP – ISSAP | Information Systems Security Architecture Professional?

The Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP) is a CISSP who specializes in designing security solutions and providing management with risk-based guidance to meet organizational goals. CISSP – ISSAP | Information Systems Security Architecture Professional facilitates the alignment of security solutions within the organizational context (e.g., vision, mission, strategy, policies, requirements, change, and external factors).

Candidates must be a CISSP in good standing and have two years of cumulative paid work experience in one or more of the six domains of the CISSP-ISSAP CBK.  How many questions are there in the CISSP – ISSAP Practice Exam?

There are 125 questions in the exam.

How much time will be given to the candidate to complete the CISSP – ISSAP Exam?

The candidate will be given 3 hours to complete the CISSP – ISSAP exam.

In which format the exam available?

The exam is available in a multiple-choice format.

In which language the CISSP – ISSAP exam is available?

The exam is available in the English language only.

How can I become a member?

There are three steps followed to become a member of (ISC)2. First, you must take and pass one of the six credential examinations. Then, you must submit an endorsement application to prove that you have the years of experience that are required to hold the credential. Once your endorsement is approved, you must pay the Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF).

When will I receive my score?

It takes a time of six to eight weeks to receive the result. Your TA will give you an unofficial exam result when you check out at the test center. (ISC)² will email you the official result.

Can I retake the examination?

Yes, you can retake the examination upto 3 times within a 12 month period.

  • If you are unable to clear the exam the first time, you can retest after 30 days.
  • For appearing the second time, you can retest after an additional 90 days.
  • If you don’t pass a third time, you can retest after 180 days from your most recent exam attempt.

How can I reschedule my examination?

  • Online at least 48 hours prior to your exam or
  • By phone at least 24 hours before your exam

However, Pearson VUE charges a reschedule fee of USD$50 and a cancellation fee of USD$100.

How can I prepare for the CISSP – ISSAP exam?

The candidate has to follow some preparatory step which is mentioned in our tutorial i.e. visiting the official, reading and understanding related books and guides, learning objectives, trying their hands-on practice test, etc.
