Is there any prior training or experience required?
It is recommended that you should have at least 6 months of experience using Jira before taking this exam, according to Atlassian University.

How do I Sign in to the Atlassian Certification Portal?
To access the Atlassian Certification Portal, you must first have an Atlassian Account. You can sign up for one here and then use it to access the Certification Portal.
How do schedule my exam?
Using a credit card or a voucher, you can schedule and pay for the exam on the Certification Portal. If you schedule your test, you will be able to select an online or in-person testing center.
What are the acceptable forms of identification for taking the exam?
All identification presented must be current or unexpired and contain a photo and signature. Acceptable forms of identification include:
- Driver’s License
- State identity card (non-driver license)
- Passport
- Passport card
- Military ID
- Green card
- Alien registration
- Permanent resident card
- National identification card
Can I request special exam accommodation?
Requests for special exam accommodations should be submitted to our Service Desk at least two weeks before the exam date.
Is there any cancellation fee for canceling the exam appointment?
In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling within 48 hours of the original appointment, the exam fee will be forfeited.
How should I take my online exam?
- Schedule your exam at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time by logging into the Certification Portal.
- Once your exam has been launched, the process of photographing and verifying your identity and scanning your room will begin.
- You will be able to start the exam after everything has been reviewed and approved by the proctor.
