1. How to register for the exams?

The Pearson VUE website is where candidates may register for the test.

2. What are Delivery methods for it?

The available delivery method is via Pearson VUE. You can take the exam at home and also at the exam center.

3. How to schedule/ reschedule/ cancel the exam?

You book, schedule, reschedule and cancel the exam at the Pearson VUE website for this exam.

4. What is the Retake policy the exam?
  • Candidates who fail at the first attempt are supposed to wait for 5 business days to make their second attempt.
  • If they fail at their second attempt, candidates are asked to wait for another 15 days.
  • And, if candidates fail at their third attempt too, they are requested to contact the officials.
5. What is the Validity of the certification?

The validity of the certification is 2 years (24 months).

6. What about recertification?

Candidates can recertify in every 2 years once they match the criteria for it.

7. What is the Format of the exam and the available languages?

A total of 75 questions will be asked in the exam that will include MCQs, matching the answers, and scenario-based questions. The exam is available in English and in Japanese.

8. What is the duration and fees for the exam?

The duration of the exam is 80 mins and the fees is $160 (USD).

9. How do I collect my certificate?

After the exam candidates will receive an email on how to access the certification management. They will receive their e-certificate, badges, achievement gifts, etc via email.

10. What are the recertification requirements?
  • From the time you pass the exam, your PCNSE certification is valid for two years. After being certified, you must wait six months before taking another PCNSE test.
  • You must recertify by retaking the PCNSE test to keep your certification active.

11. What happens if I don’t pass the exam?

  • You’ll get a score report that tells you which Domains you should concentrate on.
  • Please review the Certification Test Retake Policy before attempting to retake the exam.
12. Do I get a certificate after I pass the exam?
  • Yes. You will receive an email with details on how to access our Certification Management System once you have passed the exam.
  • You may get your PCNSE eCertificate, Logos, and Digital Badge there, as well as instructions on how to include the credential in your email signature.
