CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) CS0-002 Exam is the new exam version.

2. What is the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) Exam?

  • The CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst CySA+ exam certifies that candidates have the knowledge and abilities to configure and operate threat detection technologies.

15. What is the exam reschedule policy?

Candidates who need to reschedule their exam must call Pearson VUE at least 24 hours before their scheduled exam time. Your exam money will forfeit if you reschedule an exam less than 24 hours before your appointment or if you fail to show up for your appointment.

16. Does CompTIA allow for the examination retest?

CompTIA reserves the right to ask any candidate to retest if there is any suspicion offraudulent or aberrant test scores. 

17. How to cancel the CompTIA exam?

Candidates must call Pearson VUE at least 24 hours prior to their exam appointment if they wish to cancel it. Your exam money will forfeit if you cancel or fail to show up for a test.

18. What is the exam retake policy?

  • CompTIA does not demand a waiting period between the first and second try to pass any CompTIA certification examination for people who fail on their first attempt.
  • However, you must wait at least fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of your most recent attempt to pass such test before making your third or subsequent attempt to pass such examination.

19. Is it possible to share exam results?

If you were paid to take a CompTIA test or participate in the CompTIA Continuing Education (CE) programme by your business, academic institution, military, or a third party. CompTIA will then communicate your certification status and/or progress toward fulfilling your CE obligations with the third party upon request.

21. In which language the CySA+ exam is available?

The exam is available in English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese.

22. Are there accommodations provided for candidates from non-English speaking countries?

  • Candidates from non-English speaking countries where a localized version of the exam is not available will have a 30-minute time extension for exams. This is considered as ESL (English second language).
  • Further, during exam registration Pearson VUE, ESL is automatically granted to candidates in eligible countries. The ESL accommodation is for candidates testing in the Canadian province of Quebec. 

23. For how long the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+ certification is valid?

This certification is valid for 3 years from the date of launch.
