No, there is no requirement to take any test preparation classes. However, for a deeper grasp of the AWS platform, AWS recommends specific training programmes.

What is the retake policy

If you don’t pass the test the first time, you’ll have to wait 14 days before you can repeat it. There is no limit to how many times you may take the test until you pass it. However, you must pay the entire registration cost for each re-attempt. Additionally, test takers for the Beta exam will only have one attempt.

When will I get my result

Right after completing your exam, a pass or fail notification will shown on the testing screen. Also, candidates will be sent an email confirming their exam completion. AWS will present a detailed exam result within five business days of completing your exam. This exam detail will appear on the AWS Certification Account of yours, under Previous Exams.

Yes, AWS offers practice exams for all its certification Exams. These will test your knowledge with the AWS platform. You can purchase these Practice exams from AWS exam deliver providers via your AWS Certification Account. The Foundational and Associate-level practice exams will cost you 20 USD, while the Professional and Specialty practice exams will cost you 40 USD.

For how long is the practice exam available for AWS Certification?

Your access to the AWS practice exam expires in 180 days. After launching the exam, you will get only 30 days to complete the exam. Else, the allotted practice exam time expires. However, you can pause your practice exam by shutting down your exam browser. Selecting “End Test” will mark the exam complete and it cannot restart.

The AWS Exam passing scores are set using statistical analysis. And they are subject to change. AWS does not provide the exam passing scores as they are updated to reflect the changes in test pattern, with the updates in the exam content.

When AWS releases a new product or service, How soon will it appear on the exam

Any new product, service, or feature by AWS will generally be available, 6 months prior to it appearing on a certification exam.
