ACT Science Reasoning Test

ACT science test measures the candidate’s interpretation, analysis, evaluation, reasoning, and problem-solving skills required in the natural sciences. The exam scientific information is conveyed in one of three different formats: data representation (graphs, tables, and other schematic forms), research summaries (descriptions of several related experiments), or conflicting viewpoints (expressions of several related hypotheses or views that are inconsistent with one another).

For this exam section there is no requirement of advanced knowledge but knowledge acquired in general, introductory science courses is needed to answer some of the questions. The science test stresses science skills and practices over recall of scientific content, complex mathematics skills, and reading ability.

ACT is a national college admissions examination that consists of subject area tests in English, Mathematics, Reading and Science. The ACT with writing includes the four subject area tests plus a 40-minute writing test. The ACT results are accepted by all four-year colleges and universities in the US.
If you do not want to give the test, your basic registration fee and any additional service fees are non-refundable.
